Even though they are now dead but we still admire them and love them. They have already left the universe for good but people still adore them and consider them as their ideals. These actresses either died due to illness or committed suicide.
Let’s check out who are these Bollywood actresses who died at an unbelievably young age.
1. Divya Bharti
Divya was only 19 when she fell from a five-storey apartment on 5th April 1993. She was already a famous star by then and was even married to Sajid Nadiadwala. The speculations regarding this unfortunate incident were that she was murdered or has committed suicide.
2. Silk Smitha
Silk Smitha committed suicide on 23rd September 1996. She was very famous in South Indian film industry but apparently, she had a major downfall and her acting career almost came to an end. And that is believed to be the reason for her suicide.
3. Nafisa Joseph
Nafisa was only 29 when she was found dead in her Versova situated apartment. She hanged herself in her apartment.
4. Jiah Khan
Jiah Khan committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan on 3rd July 2013. It was believed that she was pregnant with Sooraj Pancholi’s child. Sooraj was held responsible for her suicide. She was only 25 when she committed suicide.
5. Kuljeet Randhawa
Kuljeet Randhawa was only 30 when she died. She hung herself at her Juhu apartment on 8th February 2006.
6. Madhubala
One of the most beautiful actresses of Bollywood was Madhubala and she died of heart problems. She had a hole in her heart and she died on 23rd February 1969. She was married to Kishore Kumar and died at the age of 36 only.
7. Meena Kumari
Meena Kumari died due to illness on 31st March 1972. She was only 39 years old when she died.
8. Smitha Patil
Smitha died on 13th December 1986 due to the negligence of medicines. Smitha was only 31 when she died.
9. Soundarya
Soundarya died in an airplane crash near Banglore on 17th April 2004. She was only 27 years old when she died.
10. Taruni Sachdev
Taruni died in a plane crash near Nepal on 14th May 2012. She last acted in ‘Paa’ and was only 14 when she died.
11. Parveen Babi
The reason behind Parveen Babi’s death is still unknown. She was only 55 when she died and was found dead on 22nd January 2005.
12. Pratyusha Banerjee
It came as a shock when a news regarding Pratyusha’s death came out. She committed suicide and her boyfriend Rahul Raj was blamed for her suicide. It was also reported that she was pregnant with Rahul’s baby and because Rahul asked her to abort the child and broke up with her that’s why she committed suicide. She died at the young age of 25 years only.
