Hogwarts has been every kid’s dream school after ‘Harry Potter’ movie. But we all know that Hogwarts is just a fiction. And we will never be able to see a place as magical as Hogwarts. But what if you get an admission to a university which reminds you of Hogwarts and gives you the feeling of Hogwarts? Won’t it be fun?

The grand dining room of Oxford University will definitely remind you of the dining area in Harry Potter. Also, the staircase in Oxford University looks exactly like the moving and magical staircase in Harry Potter. The only difference is that these staircases won’t move magically.
Pretty much all the buildings in Oxford looks exactly like Hogwarts and that’s why a big part of the movie was shot in this University.
2. Sydney University, Australia
The university of Sydney has the staircase which will give the gothic feel of Harry Potter’s staircase.
The Great Hall at Sydney University looks exactly like the great hall of Hogwarts. And students are also allowed to sit and read books here.
3. University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
The cathedral in University of Pittsburgh will definitely remind you of Hogwarts because of its interior.
But not only it looks like Hogwarts, it also has a pretty magical name.
4. Yale University, Connecticut
The best place in any university is its library and if you have a library like Hogwart’s then who wouldn’t read there.
Yale University has exactly that kind of library and its every book lover’s dream library.
5. University of Washington, Washington
The library in University of Washington is exactly will give you the feel of Hogwarts.
It also has a gothic and classy name. It is named as Suzzallo library.
6. University of Notre Dame, Indiana
The Basilica of Sacred Heart is very beautiful.
And you can almost imagine the pictures moving here and there.
7. University of Vienna, Austria
I guess the stairs and libraries are the only places that remind you of Hogwarts. Just like in the University of Vienna the stairs have the same look as Hogwart’s magical stairs.
The only difference though is that these staircases are absolutely stationary.

This picture will definitely remind you of Hogwarts.
Even the dining are looks like the dining area of Hogwarts but the difference is that the food is prepared by normal shelves and not by the elves.

It’s very difficult to find a university in the UK which doesn’t remind you of Hogwarts.
The library in Cambridge Uni reminds you of the library in Hogwarts. And I won’t be shocked if it has a restricted area where magic books are stored.
10. Bryn Mawr College, Pennsylvania
Look at the house banners. Clicks something? These house banners will remind you of the house banners in the Hogwarts.
This is the exterior of the College and it also looks exactly like Hogwarts. But unadventurously you won’t see any flying brooms here.
11. Harvard University, Massachusetts
The buildings in Harvard University screams history. All the buildings in Harvard looks like castles.
But the dining area in Harvard is what gives you the lillusions of Hogwarts. Anyone can take it for Hogwarts at first glance.
12. Mount Holyoke College, Massachusetts
Mount Holyoke College has everything that Hogwarts had. From huge ceilinged libraries to looming iron gates.
The buildings are even ivy-covered. I guess J.K. Rowling visited this place before framing Hogwarts.
13. Cornell University
Cornell University’s law library also has a staircase just like Prof. Gildory Lockhart’s class had which he always used for escaping the problems.
The law library at Cornell University is an epitome of beauty.
14. The university of St. Andrews, England
St. Andrews university has a building which resembles exacly like Hogwarts.
The buiding is called St. Salvadore’s hall and students staying here can say that they live at Hogwarts.
15. Kenyon College, Ohio
The dining room also called as the pierce hall looks exactly like Hogwarts.
Also, all the other buildings are build in the form of castles which gives it a gothic feel reminding you of Hogwarts.
16. University of Manchester, U.K.
The John Raylands library is 100 years old but it looks like 1000 years old because of its architecture.
It’s mystic and old looks will take you for an overdrive to Hogwarts.
