The Gully Boy Trailer Is Out: Ranveer And Alia Definitely Steal The Spotlight

The much-awaited trailer of Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy is finally out. And we can say that the wait was worth it. It is a trailer that we can actually watch more than once in repetitive mode.

The movie features Ranveer Singh along with Alia Bhatt, Kalki Koechlin, Vijay Varma, Vijay Raaz, and Sheeba Chaddha.

The trailer in itself is a lyrical and rhythmic ride and you cannot stop yourself moving to its beats.

Going by the trailer, we can see a glimpse of the evolution of Ranveer Singh’s character, who is struggling in his life. He is stuck in this vicious cycle of poverty. And is repeatedly told that he is destined to do the same thing as his father. But we see him fighting all odds and achieving his goal.

On the other hand, Alia Bhatt is Sakeena who is a savage, short-tempered student and belongs to the same orthodox background. She is strongly determined. Alia Bhatt, as well as Kalki Kochein, are playing the love interest of Ranveer Singh. Kalki Koechlin is a character who is in total contrast to Alia and Ranveer.

Ranveer Singh announced the trailer release in his Twitter account

Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar are the producers of the film. The movie is scheduled to be released on Valentine’s Day, 14 February 2019.

Alia and Ranveer will be seen together in Takht by Karan Johar. Alia has other projects as well, like the Brahmastra and Kalank.
