Prime Minister Narendra Modi flew to Mumbai for the inauguration of National Museum of Indian Cinema in Mumbai. As who’s who from the film industry was present in the inauguration of the museum. Bollywood celebrities like Asha Bhosle, Manoj Kumar, Aamir Khan, Parineeti Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, filmmaker Karan Johar, and Rohit Shetty, singer Badshah among others, attended the ceremony.
Inaugurating the museum for the film industry, PM Modi was completely in Bollywood form, as he started off his speech with the famous dialogue from Uri. He asked “how is the josh” which kindled laughter and response “High Sir”.

He talked about the film industry as a ‘silent power’ medium as it has the potentiality to provoke thoughts among the audience, he also talked about the changing trends in Bollywood- “This shows India is changing. Earlier, poverty was considered a virtue… Films were about poverty, helplessness. Now, along with problems, solutions are also being seen. If there are a million problems, there are a billion solutions”.
Meeting PM Modi and not being clicked is totally waste of the opportunity. Some managed to get his face and some only his back.
Kapil Sharma posted in his Twitter account a picture of them together and captioned it as, “Respected pm Sh @narendramodi ji,it was nice meeting u n great knowing ur inspiring ideas and progressive views about our film industry and our nation. N sir I must say u have a great sense of humor too! regards ”. To this PM Modi replied, “When (Kapil Sharma) appreciates somebody’s humour, it sure makes that person happy and I am no exception”.

However, Kartik Aryan, Imtiaz Ali, Karan Johar, and Dinesh Vijan were not so lucky and could only get his backside and discovered a new term for it. “Losers’ backfie with the honorable PM.”
