West Bengal Becomes Home To Illegal Bomb Making: Says The Governor of WB

West Bengal has become “home to illicit bomb-production”, said Governor of Kolkata, Jagdeep Dhankhar said on Saturday.

The announcement by the Governor comes after the NIA foiled an endeavor by terror group al-Qaeda to set up a base in India by capturing nine terrorists from Kerala and West Bengal.

The assaults were completed at a few areas in West Bengal’s Murshidabad and Kerala’s Ernakulam right off the bat Saturday.

In another tweet, he asked, “How far distanced is DGP @WBPolice from reality is cause of worry and added that his ‘Ostrich Stance’ is very disturbing.”

While Murshid Hasan, Iyakub Biswas, Mosaraf Hossein are from Ernakulam, Najmus Sakib, Abu Sufiyan, Mainul Mondal, Leu Yean Ahmed, Al Mamun Kamal and Atitur Rehman hail from Murshidabad.

A preliminary probe uncovered that captured men were radicalized by Pakistan-put together al-Qaeda with respect to social media platforms and were urged to dispatch assaults at numerous areas, remembering for the National Capital Region (NCR).

The module was effectively associated with raising money with a portion of its individuals wanting to go to New Delhi to obtain arms and ammo.

Investigators also seized incriminating materials, including digital devices, documents, jihadi literature, sharp weapons, country-made firearms, a locally-fabricated body armour, articles and literature for making home-made explosive devices from their possession.
