Actress Deepika Padukone has admitted to the 2017 ‘drug chats’ with her chief during the cross-examination by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in drugs probe connected to Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise. Notwithstanding, there is no affirmation on whether she intakes drugs, said the sources.
The actress was interrogated by the NCB authorities for almost five hours. Deepika arrived at the NCB office in south Mumbai this morning to record her statement in the drugs probe connected to Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise case.
As per the sources, a five-membered board, driven by NCB Director KPS Malhotra is scrutinizing the actress. Female authorities are likewise essential part for the interrogation board. She has been approached to keep her cell phone aside during her questioning.
Prior today, she was advised about the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act by the NCB authorities, official sources reported.
There was substantial police arrangement outside the NCB office, where blockades and barricades were set up. Deepika has been interrogated by the NCB as a major aspect of its investigation into the supposed Bollywood-drugs nexus.
In another development in Sushant’s demise investigation, Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer KK Singh had on Friday tweeted, “Getting frustrated by the delay in CBI taking a decision to convert abetment to suicide to Murder of SSR. The Doctor who is part of the AIIMS team had told me long back that the photos sent by me indicated 200% that it’s death by strangulation and not suicide.”
