CM Mamata Banerjee Govt Has Destroyed West Bengal, Says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hit out at Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress government while releasing the funds for this present quarter’s portion of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme.

PM Modi moved Rs 18,000 crore to 90 million farmers across India on 25 December as another installment of PM Kisan Nidhi however the West Bengal farmers passed up a major opportunity as the Mamata government has not verified the list of beneficiaries.

Almost 7,000,000 farmers in West Bengal haven’t received the seven installments of Rs 2000 each provided by the Central government since the initiative started in 2019.

As indicated by a media report, 23 lakh farmers from the state have self-registered on the central portal to avail the benefits of the scheme.

Talking at the event, PM Modi stated, “Today, I regret that in excess of 70 lakh farmers from West Bengal have not had the option to get the advantage. More than 23 lakh farmers of Bengal have applied online to take advantage of this scheme. But the state government has stopped the verification process for so long.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah too had raised the issue of PM-KISAN scheme during his visit to West Bengal a week ago. The BJP is required to make TMC’s refusal to consider a quick execution of this plan a significant argument in front of the gets together decisions in the state one year from now.
