1. Water
Water is essential for your body especially during pregnancy and you must drink 8-12 glasses of water to keep your skin hydrated. Dehydration can cause dull skin by leaving scars and blackheads. Drink water and keep your skin healthy.
2. Cleanse It
Your face is very sensitive and it becomes more sensitive during pregnancy. It’s important to clean your face regularly to remove dirt, sweat, and oil. Wash your face with some good and mild cleanser to remove the excess oil use oil free face wash.
3. Exfoliation
Exfoliation is very important to remove the dead cells from the skin. Exfoliate your skin with the scrub to remove the dead cells. Scrub your face gently in circular motion and wash it off with the cold water.
4. Massage
Massage is a good way to get rid of wrinkles and fine lines that appear during the time of pregnancy. Massage your face while applying aloe vera gel on your face and massage your face gently for 5 minutes daily. It will give your skin smooth and shiny glow.
5. Moisturiser
Always moisturize your face with a good moisturizer daily. Moisturizer will hydrate your skin and help you to remove dryness and harshness into your skin. Always use an oil-free moisturizer.
6. Sunscreen
When you get pregnant your skin becomes more sensitive. Remember whenever you get outside in the sun don’t forget to apply sunscreen on your face. Sunscreen protects your skin from harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun and also protect it from sun tan.
7. Relax
As the pregnancy is not an easy task and it leads to more tension and stress to the pregnant lady. It becomes really important for you to not get stressed because stress can be shown on your face in the form of any skin ailments. So, keep calm, read good books which make you happy and focus that your baby is in your womb and stress is not good for him as well.
8. Antioxidants
Foods rich in vitamins and antioxidant is advisable as it improves the skin tone naturally. Antioxidants are also good for your baby’s skin.
9. Laugh
It says that laughter is the best medicine and this is also advisable for you during the pregnancy if you want your skin to glow and make it smooth just ‘laugh’. Watch some comedy movies or cartoons.
10. Be kind to your skin
Always be kind to your skin whenever you use some cream or toner on your face be sure it contains less alcohol in it. Use a natural toner that is easily available in the cosmetic stores. Don’t touch your face again and again.
