Life and death are a part of a vicious circle and we all face it at some point in time. We all have to go through the sad and happy moments in life. The year 2017 is coming to an end and we all had some of the very beautiful memories of this year.
But we take a look back and came across some of the very sad moments that left us grieving and hurting. This year we lost a number of superstars who have given us, the Bollywood, and the world so much to remember.
Let’s go down the memory lane and pay a visit to all of them.
1. Om Puri
The year started with the death of the veteran actor Om Puri. He died at his Mumbai residence on 6th January 2017 at the age of 66. Before his death, he was working in Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’.
2. Vinod Khanna
The handsome and superbly talented actor had bladder cancer which ultimately took his life. He was admitted in Girgaon, Mumbai and he took his last breath on 27th April 2017.
3. Sonika Chauhan
Sonika was an actor, model, and a TV host. She was seen hosting the Pro Kabaddi League. She met with an accident on 29th April 2017 and when she was brought to the hospital she was declared as dead.
4. Reema Lagoo
The new definition of mother in Bollywood Reema Lagoo breathed her last on 18th May 2017. The news of her death shook everyone. At the time of her death, she was working in Mahesh Bhatt’s daily soap in Star Plus named ‘Naamkaran’.
5. Inder Kumar
Inder died of heart attack on 28th July 2017 at the age of 43. He gave some of the memorable performances in the films like ‘Baaghi’ and ‘Wanted’.
6. Sitaram Panchal
Actor Sitaram Panchal was fighting lung and kidney cancer for the past three years. But he lost the battle when he took his last breath on August 10, 2017.
7. Lekh Tandon
Veteran actor and filmmaker Lekh Tandon breathed his last at the age of 88 on 15th October 2017. He directed ‘Amrapali’ and worked as an actor in movies like ‘Swades’, ‘Rang De Basanti’, and ‘Chennai Express’.
8. Ram Mukherji
Rani Mukherji’s father Ram Mukherji took his last breath on 22nd October 2017. Rani’s debut film was produced by her father Ram Mukherji. He was a producer, director, and a screenwriter as well.
9. Shashi Kapoor
One of the most handsome actors bid adieu to the world on 4th December 2017. He was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital because of chest infection and he died at the age of 79.
