Bollywood Movies Which Got Delayed Due To The Pandemic Outbreak

Bollywood movies have always been a delight to watch, they are a full package of drama, comedy, crime, action, and romance. Movies are one of the best ways to escape reality, you get so engrossed in the story that you forget about the real scenario. Covid-19 had a bad impact on almost all the sectors of business, from farming to retailers everyone was in great loss, there was a huge economic loss for the country. Even theatres are in great loss due to the pandemic outbreak, no movies are being released in theatres as people are avoiding crowded places, due to this many movies have been released online on OTT platforms like Netflix and Amazon. There are a few movies which got delayed due to COVID-19.

1. Coolie No.1

Coolie No.1 stars Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan, directed by David Dhawan it is an adaptation of the original film which stars Amitabh Bachchan. Earlier it was going to release on Ott but due to some reason, the idea has been dropped off, and now nobody knows the release date.

2. 83

83 is directed by ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ director Kabir Khan, it shows how India won 1983 World Cup. Ranveer Singh will be playing the role of Kapil Dev. The movie was going to release in April 2020 but due to COVID-19, it might release in November or December.

3. Sooryavanshi

Sooryavanshi is a Rohit Shetty directed film which stars Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh. It is a super power-packed film with such huge stars altogether. It will be the first one to release once the normalcy returns.

4. Laal Singh Chadda

Laal Singh Chadda is an adaptation of the ”Forrest Gump”, it casts Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor, the movie got delayed in its making as it had to complete before December 2020.

5. Brahmastra

Brahmastra is one of the most hyped films of the year, it cats Ranbir, Alia, and Amitabh Bachchan and is directed by Aayan Mukherjee. It already got delayed multiple times which has multiplied audience curiosity for the film.
