Hotel Mumbai Recreating 26/11 Attack Starring Anupam Kher And Dev Patel

Hotel Mumbai is the retelling of the terrible and horrific night at the prestigious hotel, The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. The trailer of the movie was released on 10 January 20019. The movie will take you back in time, recreating the history, the pain, the courage, the humanity and the desire to survive.

The movie is about the terrorist attack on 26 November 2008 (26/11). It is based on the documentary, Surviving Mumbai.

The movie features Anupam Kher as Head Chef Hemant Oberoi, Dev Patel as Arjun who is a Taj employee.  And among the guests are Armie Hammer (who was last seen in Call Me By Your Name), Nazanin Boniadi, and Jason Isaacs.

The trailer gives the viewers nail-biting experience, transforming the luxurious hotel into a war zone. It mainly focuses on the attack on the hotel by the terrorist for three days. It shows the staff and the employees joining hands together to protect and secure their guests, which is their sole motive as said by Anupam Kher, “Here in the Taj, guest is god”.

The movie is directed and written by the Australian director Anthony Maras. The movie will release on the 22nd of March 2019.
