I&B Ministry Grants Permission To Air The Remaining Shows Of ‘UPSC Jihad’ By Sudarshan News Subject To Modifications

The Information and Broadcasting Ministry on Wednesday (19 November) allowed Suresh Chavhanke drove Sudarshan News to air the leftover scene of its ‘UPSC Jihad’ arrangement subject to reasonable changes and balances, Bar and Bench have detailed.

The I&B Ministry in its request expressed that, “The Ministry finds that they are not in acceptable taste, offensive and has a likelihood of promoting communal attitudes”.

The Ministry simultaneously noticed that while analyzing the real factors and conditions of the issue and the fundamental rights of the telecaster, it has chosen to alert Sudarshan News to be more cautious later on.

The Ministry additionally expressed that Sudarshan News isn’t banned from broadcasting the excess scenes of the arrangement yet it needs to survey their substance so that there is no infringement of the program code.
