The prime minister is moving mountains to make India a better country. He is putting his best foot forward in each and every sector for making India more developed. For the same reason, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had an interactive session with the delegation of Bollywood producers and actors. The meeting was held on Tuesday at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai.
Had an extensive and fruitful interaction with a delegation from the film and entertainment industry.
The delegation spoke about the strides being made by the film and entertainment industry, and gave valuable inputs relating to GST for their sector. https://t.co/ulQMtxTJQj pic.twitter.com/n4Dn38EJLr

Actors like Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar including Prasoon Joshi, the chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and producers like Karan Johar, Ritesh Sidhwani, Sidharth Roy Kapur, Rakesh Roshan, the president of the Film Producers Guild, Ronnie Screwwala, were part of the delegation.
The issues concerned for the industry were discussed. They discussed about the contribution of Bollywood and cutting down the rates of GST.
However, the history is repeated again, with no female representative from the film industry is a huge disappointment. There were 18 men but zero female. We have some talented artist who are female, like Zoya Akhter, Alankrita Srivastava, Ratna Pathak and many more. It is not that, the industry is only led by the males or it is somewhat ‘patriarchal’ in nature. We have seen talented female artists who have put their soul into the work, so where are they? With the same queries the netizens are angry again.
Would be great to have female representation in these delegations. It is 2018. https://t.co/HoxGbptgwX

Not a single woman in the entire forum? Disappointing, no wonder the film industry is considered to be male dominated #breaktheglassceiling #glassceiling
