‘Youth Have No Option Left But To Pick Up Arms’: Shocking Remark From Mufti

Peoples Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti on Monday offered a questionable expression when she recommended that the adolescent in the Kashmir Valley have no choice left except to get arms.

Tending to the press, Mufti said militancy has gone up since the time the recent territory of Jammu and Kashmir was first put under President’s rule and then bifurcated after the abrogation of Article 370 last year.

‘Hostility has expanded in their tenure. 10-15 youth are together joining militancy from every town,” she recommended.

The previous J&K CM asserted this was happening because the voice of the people was being suppressed.

“Since you have suppressed the voice, individuals don’t have a choice left. A youth figures he can either go to prison or get arms. So he thinks he better to get arms and dead. Because you don’t allow people to speak,” she stated.

Mufti further upheld dialogue with Pakistan and China.

“On the off chance that we can converse with China, at that point for what reason wouldn’t we be able to converse with Pakistan? We have been begging China to give us our territory bank,” she told the press.

The comments went ahead a day when the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) moved the Supreme Court looking for an early hearing on a clump of requests that have tested the repeal of Article 370 and bifurcation of the recent state.
